Even though there are many different cultures and artistic expressions in our country, some of the traditional artistic forms have already vanished. The bad news is that we don't really give a look about it.
So lets take a look into our different art forms
1) Manjusha Painting
Bihar is where the manjusha painting style first appeared. One of its features is that it is displayed as a series, where each image tells a story and the ones that follow only enhance it.There was a flourishing renaissance of this art form in India during the British administration. But it started to vanish in the middle of the 20th century.

2) Rogan Painting
It is a very old art form that goes back over three centuries.Only six Rogan painters are left in existence in India today. The Khatri families in Gujarat's Kutch region have been practicing Rogan painting for seven generations, but they are concerned that this will be the last generation to do so because the next generation lacks the tenacity and perseverance to carry on the tradition.

3) Traditional art of puppetry
Throughout history, puppetry has played a significant role in traditional entertainment. Similar to traditional theater, epics and legends serve as the primary inspiration for puppet theater themes. Every region of the nation has its own unique puppetry. They are reflections of regional painting and sculpture styles.
One of the things that makes puppetry so diverse is its vast array of variations. In Kerala shadow puppetry is present. Then there are the Orissan Kundhei and the Rajasthani Kathaputli, which all are the wide variety of puppetry.Although children are the primary audience for these shows, the popularity of puppetry is eventually declining as a result of kids' attraction to games and cartoons.

4) Koodiyattam
The Hindu temples in Kerala have historically included Koodiyattam in their religious rituals. Its predecessor is believed to have been Chakyar Koothu, a narrative monologue that incorporates rumors and observations about current events with stories from Hindu epics (like the Ramayana and Mahabharata) and Puranas. Original Sanskrit is used to present it, with polished Malayalam renderings provided.
